Children are eligible for Early Education Funding the term after their third birthday and Two Year Old Funding after the term the child turns two, if you meet the eligibility criteria. They are entitled to funding for 15 hours per week.

Our morning and afternoon sessions last for 2.5 hours each. Lunchtime cover lasts 1 hour and costs £4.20 daily. This  funding can be used in the following ways:

1. A  full day would use 2.5 hours for each session and 1 hour for lunch, a total of 6 hours. This would mean a child could have 2 full days cover each week (12 hours) with 3 hours spare for 1 extra 2.5 hour session.
2. 2 sessions a day with the parent / carer paying for lunch would use 5 hours daily and consequently 3 days (15 hours) would be available each week.
3. 1  session a day with lunch cover paid would amount to 3.5 hours. 4 such days would be available each week (14 hours).

Prior to this time, sessions cost £10 each.

Childcare Vouchers

Paying by childcare vouchers gives a substantial reduction in cost of around 30% because you buy them out of your pre-tax earnings. Most employers offer them, usually through a voucher company such as Busy Bees or Imagine. You may already be familiar with them through paying nursery fees.
If you’ve never used them before, just decide how much you need to pay the setting per month, then ask your employer’s payroll department for a childcare voucher form, sometimes called a salary sacrifice form.
The money will be taken from your pre-tax salary and sent to the voucher company, who will then pay us each month.

Our details are: Colden Early Years Nursery, Smithy Lane, Colden, Hebden  Bridge HX7 7HW. Our Ofsted registration number is 1048790

We are already registered with some voucher schemes. We are happy to register with other providers if needed.
