​​Bridgett Frewin- Nursery Manager
Bridgett has worked at Colden early years nursery and children’s club since 2014. Bridgett originally started as maternity cover and then was kept on as a permanent member of staff. Bridgett studied on the job and completed her level 2 and 3 in playwork before moving onto studying level 3 in early years educator. 
Bridgett is a keen traveller and loves exploring the world, she also enjoys live music and attending festivals. You may also find Bridgett out walking the countryside or summiting a mountain.

Bridgett also has; 
*Advanced safeguarding 
*Manual handling 
*Food hygiene
*Paediatric first aid
*Heath and safety 
*Level 2 award in employment responsibilities and rights in health, social care or children and young people’s settings
*Level 2 and 3 award in employment awareness in active leisure and learning ​​

​​​Shelley King - Operations Manager

Shelley started with us in 2014 in the role of Clerk.  As well as chasing you all for money she generally keeps the setting running from the administration and operations side.
Shelley loves family life with her 3 children, going on holidays and helping out at her partner's farm.  In her past she has spent lots of time travelling playing Polocrosse in different countries and captained the UK ladies Team for 8 years including two World Cup competitions.
Shelley has:

Miezyl Ransom- Senior Level 3 Early Years Practitioner             
Miezyl has Worked in early years for over 20 years and has worked at Colden for 10 of those years, Miezyl's own children have enjoyed attended Colden during her time with us. Miezyl very much enjoys being outside, you will often see her out and about walking with her dog and two boys.

Miezyl has completed her NVQ level 2 and 3 in Early Years, Child protection, Advanced Safeguarding, Paediatric First Aid and Outdoor First Aid, Health and Safety and due to her love of the outdoors Miezyl has recently completed her Level 3 Forest school course and is now a forest school leader.

Vicky Swales - Level 3 Early Years Practitioner  
Vicky Swales qualified as a Level 3 Early years practitioner in July 2017 after successfully completing her level 3 diploma. Vicky also has her level 2 in children and young people work force and her safeguarding level 1 and 2, Food hygiene level 2 & 3 and is fully trained in paediatric first aid.

Vicky started working with us at Colden in 2021, she has worked in child care for the last 6 years. She also loves being outdoor and having adventures. In her spare time she very much enjoys going out with her family & friends.
